Duo pop folk asal Jakarta, Suara Kayu yang digawangi Ingrid Tamara dan Dewangga Elsandro melepas single terbaru mereka yang berjudul “Rekat”. Lagu ini terinspirasi dari kisah perjalanan cinta Gritte Agatha dan Arif Hidayat selama 11 tahun dan akhirnya menikah pada Agustus lalu.

Lewat keterangan tertulisnya, Suara Kayu menjelaskan bahwa single "Rekat" merupakan karya yang mereka tulis bersama Gritte Agatha dan kerabatnya, Dira Nararyya dan Ditania.

"Maknanya itu ada di dalam liriknya sendiri. `Tak ada yang terlalu lama asal kita terus bersama, tak ada yang terlalu cepat, asal kita selalu rekat. Kita ingin sampaikan kalau cerita cinta yang tak kenal batas waktu, selama pun asalkan kita bersama, kita akan terus bersama, sampai di hari pernikahan, sampai maut memisahkan,” kata Inggrid dalam siaran persnya.

Sebelum dirilis ke pasaran, Suara Kayu pertama kali membawakan karya ini di resepsi pernikahan Gritte dan Arif di Bali. Lagu ini, kata Inggrid dan Dewangga, memang khusus diminta oleh Gritte untuk dibawakan di acara spesialnya.
