Unit garage rock asal Surabaya, Electric Bird resmi melepas mini album baru bertajuk Electrichestra yang berisi remake dari sejumlah single lama milik mereka, dengan sentuhan orkestra.

Dalam penggarapan karya ini, nama Chitoz yang sebelumnya juga berperan sebagai mixed and mastered di karya-karya lama Electric Bird kembali dilibatkan.

Album Stings You Hard yang telah dilepas dalam format fisik dan digital pada 2019 lalu, serta single "Shut It Out", "Broken Heart Youth", dan "Sixx" yang dirilis pada 2022 dan 2023 lalu juga melibatkan sosok Chitoz.

Melalui keterangan tertulisnya, unit yang digawangi oleh Arik (drum), Danu (vocal-bass) dan Vicky (lead guitar) ini mengatakan bahwa soundtrack film James Bond menjadi inspirasi utama mereka dalam me-remake lagu-lagu dalam EP ini.

"Mini album Eletrichestra berisi remake lagu "Wardogs", "All I Want Is Rock n Roll", dan "Of My Sins" yang sebelumnya masuk di album perdana Stings You Hard," kata personel Electric Bird.

Lewat EP baru ini, Electric Bird ingin menyuguhkan garage rock dalam kemasan yang lebih mewah dan megah sekaligus membuktikan bahwa materi lama masih bisa diubah menjadi sesuatu yang baru.
