Band rock legendaris The Smashing Pumpkins tengah mencari seorang pemain gitar tambahan untuk ikut serta bermain bersama mereka di beberapa jadwal tur mereka di akhir 2024 ini.

Hal itu diumumkan secara resmi di akun Instagram dan media sosial lainnya. Band yang digawangi oleh Billy Corgan, James Iha, dan Jimmy Chamberlain ini melakukan proses perekrutan terbuka bagi siapa saja yang berminat, termasuk untuk para penggemar yang ingin mencoba.

"The Smashing Pumpkins sedang mencari gitaris tambahan. Proses lamaran terbuka bagi siapa saja yang mungkin berminat," tulis The Smashing Pumkins.

Pada unggahan tersebut, juga dilampirkan alamat email resmi yang dimaksudkan untuk gitaris yang tertarik mengirimkan resume dan materi terkait lainnya.

Rencana tur The Smashing Pumpkins di 2024 dijadwalkan sekitar dua setengah bulan setelah gitaris Jeff Schroeder memutuskan untuk undur diri. Schroeder sendiri telah bergabung dengan band ini sejak 2007. Gimana? Berminat, Superfriends?
