DJ kenamaan asal Amerika, Diplo, melakukan kolaborasi ciamik bersama Maren Morris dengan merilis sebuah single bersama yang diberi judul “42”. Single sangat spesial karena dirilis melalui labelnya sendiri, Higher Ground.

Dalam keterangannya Diplo mengatakan bahwa ia mengerjakan lagu ini dengan Maren Morris melalui teks dan zoom singkat. Sementara, Maren Morris mengatakan, “Bagaimana bisa aku tidak menyadarinya sampai sekarang? “Merasa tepat untuk memulai liburan dengan minum tequila bersama Diplo,” ujarnya.

Sebelum kolaborasi ini, Diplo sempat melakukan kerja sama dengan DJ asal Prancis, HUGEL, dan penyanyi asal Afrika Selatan yang berbasis di London, Julia Church dalam sebuah single “Stay High”.
