Dedengkot post-punk, Gang of Four belum lama ini mengumumkan album barunya. Album ke-10 kuartet ini bertitel HAPPY NOW dan dirilis via PledgeMusic. Album ini menyusul album terakhir Gang of Four, What Happens Next yang dirilis pada 2015 kemarin.

Melansir SPIN, pengumuman album baru itu bersamaan dengan kabar tur mereka ke Amerika Utara pada Februari 2019, meliputi San Francisco, Philadelphia, DC, New York, dan masih banyak lagi.

Di awal tahun ini, Gang of Four sempat merilis EP berjudul Complicit. Album mini itu sempat menyulut kontroversi lantaran menampilkan wajah Ivanka Trump, putri presiden AS Donald Trump. Bahkan di album tersebut juga memuat lagu berjudul “Ivanka (Things You Can’t Have).”

Sebagai salah satu band berpengaruh di kancah alternative rock, Gang of Four yang berdiri sejak 1977 kini hanya menyisakan Andy Gill sebagai personel asli. Formasi mereka adalah Andy Gill (gitar/vokal), John "Gaoler" Sterry (vokal), Thomas McNeice (bass), dan Tobias Humble (drum).
