SuperFriends, The Game Awards 2025 baru aja ngumumin semua pemenangnya dari 29 kategori yang digelar di Peacock Theater, Los Angeles, kemarin malam waktu setempat (11/12/2025), atau Jumat pagi (12/11/2025) buat kita di Indonesia nih! Nah, yang paling ditunggu-tunggu of course, siapa yang bakal jadi Game of the Year alias GOTY tahun ini?

Geoff Keighley langsung yang mimpin acara pengumumannya lho. Dan benar aja sesuai prediksi kita semua, tahun ini, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 jadi bintangnya karena dapet 13 nominasi! Widih, paling banyak dibanding game-game lain. Untuk Death Stranding 2: On the Beach dan Ghost of Yotei, masing-masing dapet 7 nominasi aja, sementara Hades II dan Hollow Knight: Silksong ngejar dengan 6 nominasi dibelakangnya.

Kalau dilihat dari publishernya, Sony Interactive Entertainment paling unggul dengan total 19 nominasi. Di belakangnya ada Kepler Interactive yang dapet 14 nominasi, terus Electronic Arts dengan 10 nominasi. Penghargaan pertama yang diumumin adalah Innovation in Accessibility, yang jatuh ke Doom: The Dark Ages. Abis itu, Donkey Kong Bananza berhasil bawa pulang Best Family Game. Buat kategori Best Esports Game, Counter-Strike 2 keluar jadi juaranya setelah ngalahin DOTA 2, League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, sama Valorant.

Best Mobile Game tahun ini dimenangkan Umamusume: Pretty Derby. Kategori Best Adaptation yang mengadaptasi game ke film atau series dimenangkan oleh The Last of Us Season 2, ngalahin A Minecraft Movie dan Devil May Cry yang masih bertahan jadi nominasi. Di kategori esports, gelar atlet terbaik tahun ini jatuh ke Chovy alias Jeong Ji-hoon dari League of Legends. Dia nyingkirin kompetitor lain termasuk f0rsaken dari Valorant.
