Grup rock legendaris The Rolling Stones belum lama ini resmi mengumumkan perilisan box set vinyl spesial. Di dalam box set tersebut bakal memuat bundling sebanyak 15 album terdahulu mereka. Rencananya box set mewah ini dirilis pada 15 Juni 2018 mendatang.

The Studio Album Vinyl Collection 1971-2016 berisikan 15 album studio The Rolling Stones yang dikemas dalam format vinyl hitam seberat 180 gram. Untuk harga sendiri, box set ini dibanderol seharga £399 atau sekitar Rp 7,5 juta. Tentu jumlah ini cukup merogoh kocek dalam bagi kolektor dan fans setia band asal London tersebut.

Sebelumnya, The Rolling Stones juga sempat merilis box set album era 60-an bertajuk The Rolling Stones in Mono, yang berisikan 15 kopi CD bersama 16 kopian vinyl. Tak sekadar rilisan fisik audio, sebuah buku setebal 48 halaman dengan esai yang ditulis oleh David Fricke dan foto-foto langka dari Terry O’Neill juga turut melengkapi box set.
