Kabar mengejutkan datang dari Revenge The Fate. Beberapa saat lalu, jagoan deathcore Bandung itu mengumumkan mundurnya sang gitaris, Cikhal Padmanegara. Hal tersebut diumumkan lewat video pengumuman di YouTube.

Lewat video berjudul “Revenge The Fate New Beginning” tersebut, ketiga personel Revenge The Fate: Anggi Ariadi (vokal), Sona Purnama (bass), dan Zacky Achyar (drum) mengungkapkan bahwa sang gitaris sudah tak menghuni band lagi.

“Halo guys, kami Revenge The Fate dengan sangat berat hati harus memberitahukan bahwa hari ini, tepat pada 13 Maret 2018, Cikhal telah memutuskan untuk resign dari Revenge The Fate,” ujar Anggi.

“Kami mendukung keputusan yang dipilih Cikhal. Terima kasih banyak atas kebersamaan selama enam tahun ini. Doa terbaik dari kami untuk Cikhal ke depan,” ungkap Sona lewat video yang diunggah pad 13 Maret 2018.

Saat dihubungi SuperMusic.ID, manajer Revenge The Fate, Dika mengiyakan mundurnya Chikal dari Revenge The Fate.

“Keputusannya belum lama ini sebenarnya. Intinya Cikhal lagi ada prioritas ke hal lain, hal lainnya ini tanya ke Cikhal aja detailnya, hehe,” jawab Dika saat dihubungi SuperMusic.ID.

“Cikhal keluar RTF baik baik, silaturahmi mereka juga tetep baik,” sambung Dika.

Dika juga menyebutkan bahwa Revenge The Fate telah memiliki dua gitaris additional untuk kebutuhan live. Ia menegaskan kini Revenge The Fate jalan bertiga dan belum ada rencana merekrut personel baru.

“Untuk sekarang kita lagi lanjut proses recording single yang akan dirilis 9 Mei 2018 dan mini album yang bakal dirilis pertengahan tahun ini,” tutup Dika.
