Apa yang lo lakukan saat kesal sama mantan? Kalau penyanyi asal Kanada, Tate McRae, justru malah merilis single, Superfrieds. Judul single barunya adalah “Exes”.

Di lagu ini Tate McRae menceritakan kalau dirinya itu lebih baik tanpa mantannya, tapi dia akan selalu memiliki sesuatu untuk diingat.

“Kami menulis lagu “Exes” di hari terakhir proses pembuatan album. Itu seperti teriakan hore terakhir yang saya dan Ryan Tedder tulis dalam waktu 30 menit. Ini berbicara tentang kelemahan saya dalam suatu hubungan, dan beberapa kecenderungan untuk mencela dan menyabotase diri sendiri,” ujar Tate dalam sebuah keterangan.

Tidak hanya itu, Tate McRae juga menyajikan musik videonya. Konsepnya juga cukup seru, di mana menampilkan dirinya ditemani oleh sekelompok penari menemukan tempat rodeo yang kumuh, dan menghilangkan rasa sakit hatinya dengan gerakan energik yang dikoreografikan oleh Sean Bankhead.
