Salah satu DJ ternama asal Prancis, David Guetta, berkolaborasi dengan Kim Petras untuk merilis sebuah single yang berjudul “When We Were Young (The Logical Song)”. FYI Superfriends, lagu ini mengambil sampling lagu ‘The Logical Song’ milik band rock asal Inggris, Supertamp yang rilis tahun 1979 lalu. Namun Guetta pernah merilis single ini bersama band techno asal Jerman, Scooter di tahun 2001 lalu.

Di lagu “When We Were Young (The Logical Song)” ini David Guetta menggandeng Anthony Clemons Jr, Durk Banks, Johnny Goldstein, dan Theron Thomas sebagai penulisnya. Lagu ini disajikan dengan beat khas Guetta, vokal Kim Petras turut hadir dengan auto tune. Selain dalam bentuk audio, single ini juga dibarengi dengan video musik yang digarap oleh Hannah Lux Davis.

Nah, informasi tambahin nih Superfriends, selama 2023 ini David Guetta terhitung sudah lebih dari 15 single yang telah dirilisnya, baik itu single miliknya sendiri, atau membantu musisi lain untuk berkolaborasi.

Sementara, bagi Kim Petras tahun ini dirinya juga cukup produktif dengan merilis 2 buah album, yaitu Feed the Beast bulan Juni lalu serta Problématique (yang seharusnya menjadi album debutnya) dan akhirnya dirilis oleh Republic Records pada 18 September lalu.
