Superfriends, setelah sebelumnya gue bahas tentang nomor #1 sebagai nomor keramat di MotoGP, kali ini gue akan ajak lo untuk membahas beberapa nomor di MotoGP yang sudah dipensiunkan sebagai bentuk penghormatan ke rider yang pernah mengenakannya nih! So, nomor berapa aja yang sudah dipensiunkan dan nggak diperkenankan untuk dipakai lagi?

#58 - Marco Simoncelli

Terkuak! Ini Alasan Nama Marco Simoncelli Tersemat di Nama Resmi Sirkuit Misano - Bolasport.com

Nomor 58 ini, tentunya identik dengan mendiang Marco Simoncelli. Nomor ini dipensiunkan karena kecelakaan hebat yang menimpa Simoncelli pada tahun 2011 lalu. Dan, pada tahun 2016, Simoncelli resmi dinobatkan sebagai salah satu legenda MotoGP. Rest in Peace, Legend!

#34 - Kevin Schwantz

Nomor 34 ini dipakai oleh Kevin Schwantz sejak GP500 musim 1987. Pada tahun 1995, Kevin memutuskan untuk pensiun dari sirkuit, dan sebagai bentuk penghormatan dari pihak penyelenggara MotoGP kepada rider asal Amerika tersebut, nomor 34 diputuskan untuk dipensiunkan dari kelas MotoGP.

#46 - Valentino Rossi

Nomor 46 milik Valentino Rossi ini, resmi berstatus nomor MotoGP Legend pada tahun 2022 lalu. “The Doctor” yang dianggap sebagai tokoh paling berpengaruh di dunia balap MotoGP, diberikan penghormatan oleh pihak penyelenggara MotoGP, dengan mempensiunkan nomor 46 yang sangat melekat pada dirinya.
