Gelaran State of Play 2024 dari Playstation beberapa waktu lalu mengumumkan banyak upcoming game yang SUPER gokil nih, Superfriends! Gue sendiri sih excited banget sama Ghost of Yotei, sequel dari Ghost of Tsushima! Best samurai game dapet lanjutannya nih. Rencananya, Ghost of Yotei bakal rilis tahun 2025 mendatang. Katanya sih nggak bakal melanjutkan cerita Jin Sakai, tapi karakter Ghost baru dimunculkan. Penasaran Ghost of Yotei kayak apa? Gas, mari kita bahas!

Legacy Jin Sakai sebagai Ghost terus berlanjut hingga 300 tahun kedepan. Seorang Ronin bernama Atsu, yang meneruskan tekad Jin Sakai. Yes, walaupun jadi sequel dari pendahulunya Ghost of Yotei berlatar pada kehidupan zaman Feodal Jepang sekitar tahun 1603. Daerah gunung Yotei jadi wilayah dalam game, sekarang dikenal sebagai Hokkaido.

Berada 3 abad setelah Ghost of Tsushima, Jin Sakai kemungkinan tidak dihadirkan pada Ghost of Yote. Meski begitu, pastinya bakal ada karakter baru yang bermunculan, bro. Yes, seperti yang gue bilang di awal tekad Jin Sakai akan diteruskan oleh sang protagonis utama.

Lo akan memainkan karakter Ghost baru bernama Atsu. Doi adalah seorang Ronin yang sedang menempuh perjalanan ditemani seekor serigala. Lewat trailer terbarunya, ada detail menarik nih terkait si Atsu ini. Pertama, Atsu terlihat bisa memakai dua katana sekaligus. Kemampuan ini jelas berbeda dengan Jin Sakai. Zaman Jin Sakai, praktek dua katana belum umum. Makannya sangat menarik nih bagaimana aksi pertarungan dua katana sekaligus!

So, itulah singkat mengenai Ghost of Yotei. Bro, ni game udah pasti rilis tahun depan dengan bulan yang masih misteri. Katanya sih, Ghost of Yotei bakal jadi game eksklusif PS 5 saat pertama rilis kayak Marvel Spider-Man 2.
