Dalam waktu dekat, Viar Motor Indonesia dikabarkan akan kembali meluncurkan motor trail terbarunya. Motor yang akan hadir dengan nama Cross X 250 EC ini masih mengusung mesin yang sama dengan Cross X 250 ES yang saat ini telah dipasarkan oleh Viar. Meski demikian, Cross X 250 EC memiliki sejumlah perbedaan yang cukup signifikan.

Perbedaan utama yang terlihat dari Cross X 250 EC dan Cross X 250 ES terletak pada bagian framenya dimana Cross X 250 ES mengandalkan frame twin spar sementara Cross X 250 EC menggunakan frame model twin-tube atau tubular.

Sayangnya hingga saat ini masih belum diketahui bahan apa yang digunakan untuk membangun frame yang disematkan pada Cross X 250 EC ini. Namun jika dibandingkan dengan motor lawas Cross X 250 ES, bobot total dari Cross X 250 EC dipastikan akan lebih enteng.
